Having baby food made in advance makes mornings so much easier. I hate using Gerber…have you ever tasted those mixes? They are pretty disgusting. That is why I opt to make my son’s foods. Here are three food items I made last night for his enjoyment for the remainder of the week.
Steamed Carrots with Apples
Fill the Baby Brezza (or like appliance) with shredded carrots. Steam and blend. When done, mix in an equal amount of homemade applesauce. Done.
Mashed Sweet Potatoes: Boil two sweet potatoes. When soft, peel. Mash. Done.
That will yield at least five days worth of food.
A new favorite: smash an Avacado and two bananas together. Add two cups of rice, 1/4 cup honey. Mix ingredients together in a large bowl. Freeze individual portions immediately in cupcake tins before they oxidize. Store in freezer bags. Done! Boo Boo Bear loves this meal!
This will do until the end of next week! He loves bananas and other fresh fruit, and is beginning to eat meat off the table if it is soft and small enough. Loving his little food journeys!
