As I’ve mentioned before, I love Tilapia. It is such as easy fish to prepare and so versatile. This recipe is one of my family’s favorites. I found this online some time ago but I really am not sure where I found it out.
You will need:
4 Tilapia Filets (fresh or thawed if frozen)
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons Honey
2 Tablespoons Lime Juice
2 Garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup of flour
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil (for frying)
Season the tilapia fillets with the salt and pepper. Place them in a large baking dish or ziplock bag.
In a large skillet over medium high heat, heat the oil. Dredge each fillet in the flour until coated. Making sure the oil in the pan is hot, place the fillets in the pan and cook until flaky and crisp on each side. It took about 3-4 minutes per side for mine.
Serve and enjoy!
