Now with AmazonPrime Pantry you can do just that!
I’ve been hearing about Amazon Prime Pantry for some time now but had not taken the time to check it out. With the deals that I found on Amazon Pantry I will definitely be having at least some of my household items delivered to me!
So what is Amazon Prime Pantry? According to their website:
Prime Pantry is a unique shopping experience on Amazon.com. Prime members can shop popular household essentials and have them conveniently delivered.
Adding your first Prime Pantry item to Cart starts a Prime Pantry box. As you shop, you see that each Pantry item tells you what percentage of a Pantry box it fills based on its size and weight. Pantry boxes are large and can hold up to 45 pounds or four cubic feet of household products. As you check items off your list, we continuously track and show you how full your box is.
You can buy as much or as little as you want for a flat $5.99 delivery fee per Prime Pantry box. Save gas, save money, save time.
Amazon Prime Pantry is exclusively for Amazon Prime members allowing them to shop for products in sizes that may not be available at your local store. If you are not an Amazon Prime Member it’s easy to become a member. You can try it out with a free 30 day trial. After your trial period is up you can become a member for just $99 a year. While that may seem like a big price, but when you realize how much you get for that $99 annual fee you’ll wonder why you weren’t a member already! With Amazon Prime you get FREE 2 day shipping on Amazon Prime eligible products. If you are a book lover there are so many books you can download onto your Kindle for free as a Prime member. Amazon Prime members also have access to thousands of movies, TV shows, and over a million songs.
Once you are an Amazon Prime member you can start shopping in the Amazon Prime Pantry and adding items to your pantry box. Be sure to pay attention to pantry items that have a “clippable” coupon that brings the price down.
One example of the savings available with the “clippable” coupons is for this 4 count package of Gillette Simply Venus disposable razors. The current price is $5.76 which is the same as the price on WalMart.com. However, Amazon currently has a coupon for these razors for $3 off, which lowers the price to $2.76 which is only 0.69 cents per razor versus $1.44 per razor at Walmart.
Now, you may be saying “but I can clip coupons at home and take them to my local store”. Yes you can do that, but the you also have to take the time to match up the coupons to the items available. Amazon does that for you!
Another way to save money with Amazon Prime Pantry items is to pay attention to their special deals and savings. Right now they have a deal where if you purchase 4 select items your pantry box ships for FREE.
When shopping in the Prime Pantry be sure to fill your pantry box as close to capacity as possible. On each item Amazon will show you what percentage of space it will occupy in your pantry box. Try to fill your box up to make the most of the shipping cost (unless you are getting FREE shipping).
Another way you can save on Prime Pantry items is by using Amazon gift cards and Amazon credits, thus potentially making your purchase FREE! There are many ways you can earn Amazon gift cards. One way is through the use of Swagbucks.com or by completing jobs or “HITS” on Amazon’s Mechanical Turk.
Have you used Amazon Prime Pantry yet? Would you consider using Prime Pantry to stock up on your household items and groceries?
