Another week of the Weight Watchers program is finished. I knew thatI did not do as well last week as I had the two weeks previous. Between a death in the family and helping to care for my friend’s grandmother I was out of my normal environment and routine quite a bit.
Even with those challenges I did lose another two pounds. That puts me at a total of 14 pounds lost.
This week I have another crazy week but I am determined to stay focused. I am increasing my water intake this week. Last week I was surviving on caffeine, specifically Mountain Dew and coffee. Neither of those are exactly good diet foods. I know I could drink Diet Mt. Dew but unlike my blogging partner, Miss Adventures, I am not a fan of the diet Dew. I am not a fan of diet drinks period. Artificial sweetener gives me a headache and I swear it makes me more forgetful too.
But this week I vow to do better. I will be staying with my friend’s grandmother some again this week but I am taking healthy food with me. I plan to pick up some fruit and some vegetables like baby carrots that I can snack on as well as some almonds to take with me to her house.
And I am joining the gym soon. I hope to be able to join this week but if not this week then I will go join this weekend. I’m going to do this. No backing out!
