This week has been so busy I haven’t had much time to tell you about my Weight Watchers journey. Between helping care for my friend’s grandmother, dealing with the death of my husband’s uncle, doing some major housecleaning and just daily stuff, I haven’t had much time to think about Weight Watchers.
It’s times like this when it is so easy for us to let life get in the way and forget about our mission to get healthy. It is so easy to make poor food choices just because that’s the easiest thing to do. A burger from a drive thru, a candy bar as you run out the door. All those are quick fixes for hunger but we regret it later on.
Even with the craziness in my life this week I have managed to stay within my daily points allowance. Today as I was preparing dinner for Miss Teenie (my friends grandmother that I’m helping care for) I was opening a can of green beans and I noticed the Weight Watchers logo on the can, along with the fact that the beans were 0 Points Plus. I rarely buy canned vegetables. We can a lot from our garden or I buy them frozen so I had never noticed the points values on canned food. How great is that! Weight Watchers has really become a widely recognized program. Its so much easier to make healthier food choices and stay on the plan when food packaging has the points on the labels!
If you are doing Weight Watchers too I hope you are having a great week and are making good food choices. I would love to hear from some of our followers about how your Weight Watchers journey is going.
