I’ve been back on the Weight Watchers plan for a couple of weeks now and I want to share my journey with you, our readers. I believe that a successful lifestyle change, whether it’s a new diet, exercise routine, quitting smoking, or whatever, requires accountability so my daily recap will be my accountability.
I did really well today in my weight watchers journey. At this point in my day (around 7:30pm) I am 11 points under my daily point limit. I know with Weight Watchers you are encouraged to use all of your daily points but I don’t want to eat if I’m not hungry. That’s what I’m trying to get away from, eating just to be eating.
For breakfast I had a banana and some string cheese which is worth 2 points. For lunch I was out running some errands so on the way home I picked up a chicken burrito from Taco Bell which is worth 10 points. I also had a 12 oz Mountain Dew which is 5 points. For dinner tonight I made Black Bean Burgers, which I’m going to share in another post. The burgers themselves are 2 points and the bun that I used was 2 points.
I also managed to get in some cardio today with 30 minutes on the exercise bike and in a bit I will do some exercises with my exercise ball. I typically do crunches, wall sits as well as a couple other exercises with the exercise ball.
I may have an apple or orange later this evening before going to bed but both of those are 0 points with the Weight Watchers Points Plus plan. Overall today has been a pretty good day in my weight watchers journey!
