Finding the Balance
There comes a point in any diet where your energy level is zero and a balance must be struck. I am there and it’s only week two, which tells me that my diet was so poor before, so dependent on sugar and grains, that I’m having a rough time adjusting to “real” foods.
Every step today is a struggle! Exhaustion isn’t the word for it. I remember the first time I did Paleo- the same feeling hit me like a truck and it took a couple days to get adjusted. I believe it was during week two the last time as well.
How will I get out of this energy zap? Lots of red meat and good fats. Beginning now I’ll increase my fat intake- almonds, oils, ect. The 21-day sugar detox is looking better and better, and in reality, is probably the best thing I could do at this point.
