According to my DietBet round 1 weigh in, I lost SIX pounds! The bet I’m involved in is a six month Transformer challenge, running January 7-July 7. The first round I was only required to lose three pounds, but I doubled what I was required to lose. This was pure excitement, although I could have worked harder and lost way more.
I simply started watching calories in vs calories out, stopped buying food from my work cafeteria, and started exercising one time per week. I increased my water intake as well.
This week I’m bumping up my workout routine. Every free day I can I will attend Bikram Yoga. This will be four days every other week, one day the alternating week. Not too bad.
I have also started the Body by Vi challenge. I know, it’s not Paleo. But, I needed a change and although this has ingredients that are against my better judgement, I’m doing it for the next month or so.
Back to the diet bet. In the next fifteen days or so I have to lose two more pounds. Some exciting news though: we are teaming up with two other bloggers for a DietBet of our own!
