In December I agreed to do a review of a necklace from Monogram Online.
Better late than never!
Actually, I wanted to wait to wear it a bit so I could truthfully attest to the durability of the necklace, make sure it did not tarnish quickly, and any other aspect that is usually left out when someone does a review in haste. This necklace was truly a great find.
Here is a photo of me (my daughter in the background, and don’t worry, we were sitting in a drive thru, I was not driving down the road taking selfies!)
And another really lame selfie. Love my Lilly Pulitzer sweaters with sayings! Also, those Oakley sunglasses? I bought them eight years ago! Eight! They’re still going strong.
The necklace has lived through multiple showers, a toddler playing with it (several occasions,) being left in a cold car, being placed in my my cosmetic bag and tangled from this treatment, and has suffered a trip through the washing machine and dryer. Honestly I though that would be the death of the necklace, but it looks as pretty as the day it arrived.
When the necklace arrived I was a bit underwhelmed. The packaging was simpky an envelope and the necklace was in a long zip lock type bag stapled to the invoice. Retail, the necklace I received would have been around a hundred bucks. Had I not been given the necklace to review and paid for it, the manner in which it was shipped would have screamed “CHEAP PRODUCT” to me, and I would have contemplated returning immediatly.
That would have been a mistake. Despite the poor packaging, the necklace is beautiful. I have gotten so many complements and have referred so many of my friends to the company for ordering.
Overall, this silver necklace has really held up, the quality is supurb, and I also really like that the lettering is easy to read. The monogram itself is bigger than a quarter, which is my biggest complaint with other monogram necklaces I have seen.
If you want to order one of these necklaces, go to Monograms Online to see the great array of monogram products they have!
