You may have seen us talking about our recent DietBets that April and I have participated in. April is participating in a 6 month long DietBet while I recently completed my first 4 week DietBet. We learned about DietBet from our blogging friend Kristin at Exploring Domesticity. She has participated in several DietBets.
Now for the exciting news you’ve all been waiting for….okay, maybe you didn’t know you were waiting for it but you should have been! We sure are excited about it!
The Lose your Booty DietBet will kick off on February 24th and we want you to join us.
How does a Diet Bet work?
Each participant will throw in $25.00 (paid to DietBet, not to us) to get started. Diet Bet will ask you to weigh in with two photos. After you have weighed in get busy losing weight and getting healthy. With this DietBet you have thirty days to lose four percent of your starting weight. 4% that’s all. In my recent DietBet a 4% weight loss for me was 8 pounds. Nothing extreme! At the end of the month, all of us who reach our 4% goal split the pot. The bigger the pot, the better chance you have at winning some extra money!
Because we promote healthy lifestyles we want you to use this time to start a lifestyle of making healthy food and fitness choices. We don’t want to promote unhealthy habits like starving yourself for days right before your weigh in. You aren’t benefiting yourself any by doing that. Throughout the 4 week game we will each be sharing tips and recipes to help you make healthier food choices for you and your family.
We will also be featuring several game participants on our blogs to share their story, motivation, and tips for losing weight. Who knows you may be chosen to be featured on one of our blogs!
