I wish I had known about this trick years ago. It sure would have saved my hands a lot of work shredding chicken through the years.
Simply put your warm chicken (no bones) in the bowl of your KitchenAid mixer. Warm chicken is easier to shred than cold chicken.
Using your paddle mixer attachment, turn your mixer on medium for about 30-40 seconds and watch as your chicken is shredded.
Now isn’t that much easier than doing it by hand!
