For those of you who have been following, you’ll know that we are both on a quest to make our lives better. The Mrs follows the weight watcher plan and has lost quite a bit of weight! (Yay her!)
Paleo is my thing. Until now it’s the only thing I’ve been doing diet-wise because for the last thirteen months I’ve been breast feeding. Those days are almost over and I’m beginning to gain weight! Not good.
Now I actually have to start working out, more than just lifting up the baby and walking a couple miles a day at work.
Today I ventured to the grocery store to purchase the next two weeks food. One of my financial resolutions is to not spend money at work in the cafeteria, because food from home is healthier and cheaper. This weeks plan is meat and veggies (because I’ve moved and been so busy, there has been no time to once a month cook.) I cannot stand the pudge that has developed around my midsection. It’s driving me insane.
My fitness goal this week is to walk at least five miles a day, and locate a treadmill on Craigslist. I desperately want a water rower. They are SO nice! For a long time I was interested in a Concept II, but my little one tries to put his fingers in everything. The fan concerned me. I could just see a trip to the ER for finger tip amputations.
So that’s the plan. I have been cooking a bit today to make the week easier. So here we go. I have to get my body back into shape (nothing to hurt my wrist further though…MRI this week!)
