Who doesn’t love a good deal? Today I was out and about and decided to stop by our local bakery store. We have 2 major brand bakeries in our town and one of them has a bakery shoppe where they sell items that are marked down and can’t be sent out to the retailers.
They also sell these delicious honey buns that are made fresh that day. (Definitely not Weight Watchers or Paleo friendly though!) The honey buns are usually 6 for $1.50 and they are melt in your mouth good!
But that’s not the best deal I found today. Back in the back corner of the store they had “clearance bread”. I found a bag with 12 loaves (the size of sub sandwich loaves) of rye bread. The whole bag was only .50 cents!
We will probably use some of the bread for sandwiches. I’m thinking Reuben sandwiches would be good. But the main plan I have for this bread is to cut it up and make croutons with it for salads. Yum!
