Several years ago I worked as a Family & Consumer Sciences teacher. I taught several Culinary classes, which required that I do a LOT of grocery shopping each week. Whether I was buying food for different events or foods labs in my classes, I had to stay organized because I sure couldn’t leave my classroom to run back out to the grocery if something was forgotten.
So in order to stay organized I created this grocery shopping list. It’s set up in the order that most grocery stores are organized so you aren’t running back and forth from one side of the store to the other. I also added two columns to each section where I could write down the quantity I needed of each item and whether or not I had coupons. That way as I placed the item in my cart I could pull the coupons out so I had them ready at check out time.
Even though I no longer teach, I still use this form when I go grocery shopping. I don’t like to spend any more time than necessary at the store so this list helps me stay organized so that I’m not going back and forth all over the store and still forgetting something.
This month we are going to share with you some great ideas for staying organized in different areas of your life so come back each week for more free downloads!
