“Making meals and making them matter” is their motto.
MY motto is keep it simple.
Keeping it simple is exactly what this website does. eMeals was founded by two sisters, Jane and Jenny, who are busy moms and experienced home cooks. These sisters have come up with an amazing way to help women organize shopping, food prep, cooking, and feeding their family, no matter what their diet needs might be.
This is especially helpful for my family. If you’ve been following us for awhile you know I follow Whole 30 (paleo) and my family
suffers through my recipe experiments enjoys the lifestyle as well. Sometimes I deviate from the diet. Ok, more than sometimes. When I have a very busy day I’ll eat something that has been breaded or fried. Even worse…french fries. They are my kryptonite. eMeals is designed to keep this from happening by ensuring that you are prepared for meal time and can avoid those drive thrus after work.
What do you get with a membership? A sectioned out shopping list for grocery items and necessary staples, a very detailed set of the instructions for preparing the main courses and side dishes, including the total time for the meals, most of who’s prep time is thirty minutes or less.
So many meal plans exist on this website. I chose the Paleo meal plan, but there are many more to explore to meet the needs of your family.
Here are the menu options to choose from:
Natural and organic
See what I was talking about! There are SO many meal options to choose from!!You can even click on the grocery store where you shop the most and find meal plans that correlate with what the sell. And, you can customize this to the family menu or the “for two” menu that is also available! Each week, Emeals will email seven meals and side dishes, healthy recipes , the fantastic shopping list, and the grocery store savings.
I was given the opportunity to give Emeals a try, and am pleased with the results. The site also has a great blog, with articles like Strategies to Maintain a Healthy Work Life Balance, and other topics that women struggle with every day like 500 Calorie Meal Plans. You guys have to try this! I think I’m hooked.
A lot of times on a specific diet you can get stuck in a rut. I know with Paleo some complaints I’ve heard deal with needing creative ways to cook everyday foods. If you’re eating eggs and bacon for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and chicken and green beans for dinner EVERY SINGLE DAY, you’re going to be bored and won’t stick with the plan. If your family is following a particular diet, who couldn’t use more help thinking of new dishes for the family to try?
Thus far I’m loving my eMeals membership. You should give it a try too!
