Direct sales companies are my kryptonite. I love buying from a person who is trying to make extra income or a living in direct sales. What I love even more is signing up for these companies. You might (or might not, judging from our blog’s stats and bounce rates!) have read about my experience kit napping. There are mixed opinions out there about people who sign up for direct sales companies just for the kit. Usually, it’s a lot of product! (Another argument for signing up could be the tax benefits too.) But then there are the companies who got smart and started offering free product to brand partners, or whatever they may call their sales force. Typically I have seen the “two people sign for direct ship, your product is free,” and depending on the structure of their “bonus” system, the free product or product credits roll in depending on your sales.
Just to be clear, I am NOT a Nerium brand partner, and I definatly did not get compensated to write this post. One of my dearest friends peddles the product and does so very well. Nontheless, the company produces a product I have grown to love because the results are evident.
My forehead has been the greatest beneficiary of the Nerium Night Cream, which is the only product in their line I prefer to use. Nerium Brand Partners sell only four different products at this time: Day Cream, Night Cream, Firm Body Lotion, and their EHT pill. As age has crept up on me, my forehead has developed more and more wrinkles. This is a photo of me (making a funny face) a little over a month ago. Note the forehead wrinkles with my eyebrows raised.
Yikes. But with the help of my night cream, my forehead wrinkles have lessened. A little. I can see a difference.
The Firm body cream, on the other hand, is a product I have noticed has produced very little result. I have used it day and evening for three months with not much of a difference. The instructions are easy to follow, massage into affected areas for at least a minute in circular motions. The affected areas of my body are the backs of my arms, stomach, hips, butt, and knees. My skin elasticity has not changed. Sorry Nerium, I’m sticking with your night cream.
Why not use the Day Cream? Tried it, for some reason it made my face sweat so much I could not put makeup on. Weird reaction, and it occurred every time, only on the portion of my face or neck where applied. After even a couple days break from using the day cream, the sweating reaction resumed as soon as the product was applied.
I have not tried the pill the company now offers, and really have no interest in taking another supplement. Another friend who sells Nerium (and earned a Lexus) swears by the pill and says it has helped her sleep better, but I’m just not interested in that either.
There is something to be said about products from a company with the exponential growth Nerium has experienced. Think my forehead lines will disappear?
