My Cave cravings box arrived!
(*My nail polish was Essie “Ladylike” in case you’re wondering. My new favorite color!)
The box was neatly packaged and chock full of goodies! (And some not so good!)
These “Caveman Cookies” were moist and tasted like honey and almond with raisins. I think I would order some, or purchase them if I saw them in the store. I have actually made some just like these, using the same ingredients listed on the packaging. They are fairly easy to make so the price would be the deciding factor if they were purchased or not.
The larger fig energy bars were good from Bearded Brothers. It was an item that if I were having a hypoglycemic emergency I might eat in a pinch, or if I were out and about or on a vacation (think in the middle of a Disney park!) if be able to pull out of my purse or diaper bag and eat for a quick burst of calories.
However the smaller energy bars, Coconut Mango and Chocolate, were absolutely not good.
These bars were a bit.. Interesting. To be honest, I hated them. I took a small bite out of each and spit it out after a couple chews simply because they weren’t worth the calories to swallow!
The above macaroons were AMAZING! I absolutely loved them and will be ordering some ASAP! See how they disappeared?
The final item in the box was jerky. The mild variety was much better than the original.
I absolutely love these types of sample boxes and thoroughly enjoyed receiving my Cave Cravings box this month! Having the ability to sample things before purchasing at the store is wonderful. For example, had I gotten some of the Bearded Brothers energy bars I would have been thoroughly disappointed, but the Coco Roons would have been a pleasant surprise. (In fact, I got online to figure out where I could get more right away after trying!)
