This post is to give credit where credit is due. I have the best blogging partner, and I am so happy that she decided to go on this journey with me about a year ago.
She has done so much over the last couple of months for this blog. I have been swamped with life events and haven’t been able to write, but my blogging partner hasn’t missed a beat. She writes amazing recipes consistently, takes photos, and does all the social media behind the scenes stuff too! Shea wonderful person with tremendous work ethic (but the blog “work” is fun!)
Although I haven’t been writing, I have been doing a bunch of life stuff that I will share a lot of with everyone in the next few weeks. Here’s a list of everything I’ve had my hands in the last seven to eight weeks:
Elf on the shelf planning
NaNoWriMo- don’t know what it is? November is National Novel Writing Month. I’m getting a little braver with my writing- in fact I’m about to come out of the proverbial closet and let everyone know about this blog!
Planning for Thanksgiving and Christmas in general (and trying to convince my family that Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving day is NOT an excellent idea. Sometimes I think my family has lost their minds. I WANT to MAKE Thanksgiving dinner!)
Estate planning (insurance, supplementals, life, health, wills, et cetera.)
Kid activities (for Christmas, making life fuller for my children as a single parent.)
Building my credit (I have learned some are difficult lessons about money in the last three years and refuse to ever make the same mistakes again.)
Cooking new dishes (Yes, I’ve written down the recipes, taken pics, and am ready to post them shortly!)
I’ve had a full plate, but thanks to having an incredible blogging and business partner, the blog doesn’t suffer when one person poops out for a while!
Do any of you have an above and beyond blogging partner, or do you blog alone?
