August Kentucky Bloggers Roundup
Beyond My Blue Door
The first post I want to share with you is from Laurie and Beyond My Blue Door. She has recently shared about Addiction and Self-Awareness. This post hits close to home as I have seen the impact of addiction in the life of friends and family members and in my own marriage. Be sure to check her out.
Grace, Love, Life
Brittany at Grace, Love, Life has shared her experience with bed bugs in her home. I can’t imagine the horror of pulling back the covers to find bugs in your bed. It makes my skin crawl to think about it and the cost of getting rid of the bugs….wow! I didn’t realize it cost that much!
The Southern Pearl Blog
Kirstie at The Southern Pearl Blog is one of our newest Kentucky Blogger friends and we are happy to be able to share her blog with you for the first time. Recently Kirstie shared about her experiences Being a (Step)Mom Before Mom. I have never experienced this myself but she really opened my eyes about the feelings that step-parents deal with when parenting children that are not biologically theirs.
Laura at Kindly Kentucky is another new Kentucky blogger friend of ours and she recently shared about her visit to Federal Grove in Auburn, Kentucky. Her description of her meal has left my mouth watering! I’d love to check out Federal Grove if I’m ever in that area.
So Much Moore
Have you heard of Glamour Farms? I hadn’t until reading Beth’s Fashion Friday with Glamour Farms post at So Much Moore. The pieces of clothing she shares are beautiful and look so comfortable. I’m definitely adding this company to my list of retailers to check out!
Do you dream about starting a garden but think you don’t have enough space? Barb at Sustainable Chick has some great tips for Vertical Gardening. Be sure to check out these tips if you’ve ever thought about starting a garden.
Bright on a Budget
If you’ve ever had trouble with matte lipstick be sure to check out the tutorial on How to Apply a Matte Lipstick at Bright on a Budget.
Kentucky at Heart
Here at Kentucky at Heart we recently posted a recipe that you will love. It’s a super easy one-pan meal so there’s fewer dirty dishes to clean up. Who doesn’t love that! This recipe for Cast Iron Cheesy Potatoes is so yummy you won’t have to worry about leftovers!
